The Binn Eco-Park concept is a new application of industrial ecology principles which address a number of inter-related concepts. These include industrial symbiosis (the sharing of waste stream between industrial processes), zero waste (aiming to reduce waste, maximize the recycling of materials and capture value from all wastes that are produced) and the circular economy (creating inter-connections between a diverse range of processes). CASA was commissioned by Binn EcoPark Ltd to provide the full range of planning and environmental services, including EAs to support this project over the lifetime of its development.
