CASA Planning and Environment recognises that a professional approach to planning recognises and respects the views of all involved parties. Our methodology is based on partnership and we employ a robust and sensitive approach to clients and stakeholders alike, aiming to get the planning system working with our clients, not against them. We develop a sound understanding of our clients' needs so we can ensure that our advice achieves the required objectives in the most environmentally sustainable manner. Our clients include local authorities, regional and central government organisations and agencies, landowners, industrial and commercial companies, developers and local community groups.

The Directors of CASA have extensive experience of public inquiries, planning committees and public consultation, including submission under the 2009 P.A.N. Regulations. They have been responsible for publications in highly regarded academic journals concerning public participation in planning and have run public participation programmes under the new requirements of the Planning etc (Scotland) Act 2006. If your project requires a public inquiry or public consultation, you can rest assured that your interests are in our safe, expert hands.

We have over 40 years of experience of the town and country planning system in both the public and private sector in Scotland. In this time we have helped many clients to achieve effective planning solutions to complex issues. The team at CASA have worked on many diverse projects including planning applications for town centre redevelopments, community growth areas, sustainable communities, major infrastructure waste management facilities, wind farm developments, minerals and commercial developments.
